Our Work
Process systems engineering studies can aid in the area of sustainability in chemical engineering:
-
Evaluation of environmental (“green”) aspects of new strategies (LCA, life-cycle assessment)
-
Identification of cost drivers and technological bottlenecks (TEA, techno-economic assessment)
and can be thus coupled with experimental catalysis studies.
Research Goal: Development of computer-aided tools and models to synthesize and evaluate new systems/products
01
Effective chemical sensors
We are developing electrodes for electrochemical sensors for detecting harmful organic matter, heavy metals and microplastics. In particular, it synthesizes nano-materials, organic/inorganic hybrid materials for sensing electrodes with special properties. In addition, we manufacture suitable semiconductor structures such as general electrode structures, FET structures, and SPE structures.
03
Photovoltaic Research
We develop special materials with excellent photoelectric performance. In addition, we design materials that facilitate charge transfer and electron generation, and are used as special materials for solar cells. This research fabricates organic solar cells, perovskite solar cells and hybrid solar cells.
